Exam Pattern

  1. Section IA – Languages: This section offers 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and others. Candidates are required to answer 40 out of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) within 45 minutes per language.
  2. Section IB – Additional Languages: Comprising 20 languages such as Sanskrit, French, and German, this section also mandates answering 40 out of 50 MCQs in 45 minutes per chosen language.
  3. Section II – Domain-Specific Subjects: Covering 27 subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Economics, candidates must attempt 50 out of 60 MCQs in 60 minutes for each selected subject.
  4. Section III – General Test: This section assesses general knowledge, current affairs, and analytical skills, requiring candidates to answer 50 out of 60 MCQs within 60 minutes.

The marking scheme awards 5 marks for each correct answer, with a deduction of 1 mark for every incorrect response.
